Your new LinkedIn banner, headline and Featured

Five options. Pick one number and use that option's banner, headline and Featured tile together. Every option points people to the book you've already written, The Truth About Student Behaviour, with the same word already on your banner: “BEHAVIOUR”. Each one keeps what you already have (800+ principals, your book, The Age, 7NEWS, ABC and Today) and makes it big enough to read on a phone.

Every banner and Featured tile, full size, ready to upload.

The one-shot DM

Send this to anyone who likes or comments on one of your posts, or anyone you've just connected with. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Your message

Hey [FIRST NAME], I'm about to head out for a few laps of the Dromana cricket ground, so I thought I'd send this quickly before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!), so I wanted to say hello properly.

I'm Adam. I'm a former principal, and I run Real Schools. We work with principals for three years to build a school culture where behaviour gets better and staff want to stay.

I had a look at your school, and you reminded me of [PRINCIPAL NAME] at [PARTNER SCHOOL].

Their team [RESULT].

It works because we don't run one PL Day and leave. A former principal from our team works alongside your staff for three years. At Burrowes State School, that took suspensions from 38 down to 8 in a year.

It's taken us 14 years and more than 800 Aussie principals to get this right.

Right now we've got an offer where [THE OFFER].

As you can imagine, the sticker chart isn't a big fan of us haha.

Anyway, I really need to get moving before the sun goes down.

Would you like me to walk you through how it works? I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow.

If not, no worries at all. I'm happy to just send you a free copy of my new book, The Truth About Student Behaviour.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Adam

What goes in each gap

  • [TOPIC]: the post they reacted to. For a new connection, use “thanks for connecting!”.
  • [PRINCIPAL NAME], [PARTNER SCHOOL] + [RESULT]: a partner school that looks like their school, with its real number. For example: Burrowes State School, suspensions from 38 down to 8. Clarence High School, suspensions more than halved and the best NAPLAN results in the school's history. Maitland High School, HSC results 50% better than their best ever.
  • [THE OFFER]: whatever you're running right now, such as a place at the next workshop or a first PL Day before Term 1.
  • The times: two real slots tomorrow. Before 8am or after 3:30pm suits most principals.
Before it goes live

Three quick checks

  • One keyword everywhere. Your About currently ends “send me a DM with the word culture”. Change it to “behaviour” so the banner, headline, Featured and About all ask for the same word.
  • Put Real Schools first in Experience, and refresh it. Right now ACEL sits on top, and the Real Schools description still talks about Adam Voigt Education Solutions and Real Learners.
  • 800+ principals, not 800+ schools. Your posts this year say around 380 partner schools, and your headline says 800+ principals. Both can be true, so the kit always says “principals”. If anyone asks, that's the difference.
